These terms apply when you use the DeshÉ website and when you order from us. DeshÉ is a small home-based food business in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

Our website

This website is a catalogue of our homemade sweets and snacks. You cannot pay or check out online. To order, you send us an enquiry, and we get in touch with you directly.

Prices

Prices shown on the website are reference prices only. The final price depends on quantity, flavour, packaging and delivery, and we confirm it when we reply to your enquiry. Prices may change without notice.

Enquiries and order confirmation

Sending an enquiry is a request, not a confirmed order. An order is confirmed only when we confirm it with you by phone, WhatsApp or email, including the items, quantity, final price, payment arrangement and delivery or pick-up date. We may decline an enquiry, for example if we cannot make it fresh in time.

Freshness, shelf life and storage

Our treats are made in small batches without preservatives. Each product page shows its approximate shelf life and storage guidance. In general:

• store sweets in a clean, airtight container, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight;
• refrigerate items where the product page says so;
• use a dry spoon and keep the container closed.

Shelf life is counted from the date of preparation. We are not responsible for spoilage caused by storage that does not follow our guidance, or by consuming products after their shelf life.

Allergens and dietary information

All our products are made in a home kitchen that also handles nuts, dairy (milk and ghee), gluten (wheat) and sesame. Even when a product does not list one of these as an ingredient, we cannot guarantee it is free from traces. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please tell us in your enquiry and check with us before ordering.

Nutrition values on our website are approximate and for general information only. They are not medical or dietary advice.

Delivery

We currently deliver in and around Jamnagar, Gujarat. For other locations, we may arrange courier delivery for longer-lasting items at an extra cost, which we confirm with you. Delivery dates are agreed with you and are estimates; delays can happen due to weather, courier issues or other reasons outside our control. Please check your order when you receive it and tell us about any problem within 24 hours.

Cancellations and changes

Because every order is made fresh for you, cancellations and changes are handled by arrangement. Please contact us as early as possible. Once we have bought ingredients or started preparing your order, we may not be able to cancel it or offer a refund. For bulk orders, any advance payment terms will be agreed when we confirm the order.

Your account

You can create an optional account to save treats and view your enquiries. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, as we sign you in with one-time codes sent there. We may suspend accounts that are misused.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the website, including sending spam or false enquiries, trying to break or overload the site, or copying content for commercial use.

Content and intellectual property

All content on this website — including the DeshÉ name and logo, photos, text, recipes and design — belongs to DeshÉ or is used with permission. You may share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reproduce or use our content commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

We make our treats with care and try to keep the information on this website accurate. To the extent permitted by law:

• the website is provided "as is", and we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors;
• our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Indian consumer protection law.

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
